We took an 11-day Italian Discovery Tour in May 2008. Lindsay, my daughter-in-law, was standing by the window of the palace on Isola Bella Island in Lake Maggoire. This lake, bordered by Elps in the north, is extremely gorgeous and a place we would want to visit again. The great Napolean and his lover Josephina had stayed in this palace during his time. They preserved the bed where they slept on in the palace. The graden was well landscaped with variety of beautiful flowers, plants, and 2 gorgeous pure white peacocks walking around.Original Oil, 14x11, private collection.
