I took an oil painting workshop from Lillie Pell in Ruidoso, New Mexico in the summer of 2007. One morning we went to Ruidoso Down to shoot pictures for our painting material. This cowgirl was among the jockeys in practice. I gave this painting to Sydney and Paul Pan. Sydney loves riding horses and grew up in Ruidoso.Original Oil, 9x12, private collection.
